Everything is in plain sight:
Section 23 on deed of trust (DOT) in Alaska, and similarly for mortgages across the nation, clearly states that when total payments on the note equal the note amount, the deed of trust/mortgage and the note are cancelled and returned to the homeowner and full reconveyance is recorded.
Notice that we’re talking about total payments on the note from any source, not “when the homeowner makes the last payment” (regardless of third-party payments) which will be a license to steal, this theft is being systematically perpetrated by the banks for unjust enrichment in blatant violation of the mortgage contract .
